In Men’s Cricket, England defeated India by 125 runs in the 3rd T20 International at Trent Bridge in Nottingham last night. Chasing a target of 202 runs set by England, India lost wickets in quick succession and were all out with a paltry score of 76 in 11.4 overs. For England, Josh Tongue took 4 wickets, while Jofra Archer scalped 3.

Earlier, India won the toss and opted to bowl. Put to bat, England scored 201 for 7 in stipulated 20 overs. Philip Salt was top scorer with 70 runs. Sam Curran made 41 runs. For India Prince Yadav and HarshitRana scalped 2 wickets each. Jofra Archer was adjudged as the Player of the Match. With this win, England leads the 5 match series 2-0.

England defeated India by 4 wickets in the second T20 match on Saturday in Manchester. The first T20 match between both the sides ended with no result due to rain.

Bristol and Southampton will host the final two matches of the series. Following this, India will take on England in a three-match ODI series.
