Prime Minister Narendra Modi sharpened his attack on the Trinamool Congress (TMC) during three massive rallies in West Bengal today, April 11, 2026.
Speaking at Katwa, Jangipur, and Murshidabad, the Prime Minister vowed that a BJP government would release a “white paper” detailing fifteen years of alleged corruption, syndicate rule, and administrative failures under Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee.
He promised that the first cabinet meeting of a new BJP government would focus on implementing the Ayushman Bharat health scheme and accelerating the Citizenship (Amendment) Act (CAA) to protect refugee families from the Matua and Namasudra communities.
The Prime Minister’s speeches were heavily centered on the theme of ending an “era of fear.” Referring to incidents like Sandeshkhali and the RG Kar case, he accused the TMC government of protecting criminals while neglecting the safety of ordinary citizens. He further alleged that the “cruel” policies of the current administration had devastated the lives of potato farmers and allowed coal and sand mafias to thrive.
Vowing a “zero-tolerance” policy, he declared that “infiltrators” would have to pack their bags and leave the state, while those who assisted them would face severe legal consequences.
To appeal to women and government employees, the Prime Minister reinforced the promises made in the party’s newly released “Sankalp Patra.” He emphasized a monthly financial support of ₹3,000 for women and the immediate implementation of the 7th Pay Commission for state employees.
In Murshidabad, he also pledged to implement the Uniform Civil Code (UCC) within six months to end “appeasement politics.”
As the state moves toward the two-phase elections on April 23 and April 29, the Prime Minister’s “six guarantees” have set the stage for a high-decibel battle to determine the future of Bengal.
