A shocking incident has come to light from R G Kar Medical College and Hospital, where a man lost his life after getting trapped inside a malfunctioning lift. The victim, reportedly in his early 40s, had visited the hospital with his family when the lift suddenly stopped working. He remained stuck inside for a prolonged period before being rescued. After being taken out, he was immediately shifted to the emergency ward in critical condition. Despite efforts by doctors, he could not survive.
