Despite restrictions from the parliament, Iran decides to work with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) said the foreign minister of Iran Abbas Araqchi after the bombed nuclear sites poses security and safety concerns. “The risk of spreading radioactive materials and the risk of exploding leftover munitions are serious” as cited by the foreign minister .

The Israel and US strikes that targeted a nuclear site which the western countries for long said was made for atomic weapons, whereas Iran has long said that it’s nuclear programme is peaceful.

A new law passed in Iran following the bombarding of the Israel and US, which states that any inspection of Iran’s nuclear sites by the IAEA would require approval from the Supreme National Security Council, Iran’s highest security body.

To restore full cooperation, the Iranian President warned IAEA about their “double standards” as UN nuclear watchdog’s refusal to condemn the Israel and US strikes. “The IAEA’S request for continued monitoring in Iran will be decided on a case-by-case basis by the council with consideration to safety and security issues” said Araqchi.

Iran is very clear that any nuclear deal that restricts them from enriching uranium will be rejected, Araqchi also added that the talk should be limited to its nuclear programme and not on any other defence issue such as it’s missiles.

Iran was very careful considering the renewed nuclear talks and seeks assurance that Washington will not resort to military force again, “we are in no hurry to enter into a unconsidered negotiations” said Araqchi.

He also added by saying that any move from Britain, France and Germany, trying to impose international sanctions will put an end to “Europe’s role” in Iran’s nuclear programme.
