The BJP government in West Bengal has completed its first 100 days in office, and the party is now taking its report card directly to the people, planning to reach at least four crore voters across the state over the next seven to 10 days.
From Tuesday, BJP workers and functionaries started fanning out across neighbourhoods with a 41-page booklet titled ‘West Bengal Government’s Resolution and 100 Days of Success’, detailing what the party describes as the administration’s first 100 days of “policy changes and administrative action”.
The exercise is as much about accountability as political messaging, with workers asked not only to distribute the report card but also seek feedback on the government’s performance.
