A Division Bench of the Calcutta HC rejected the verdict of (now retired) Justice Ganguly on cancelling the appointment of 32,000 primary teachers in State-run and State-aided primary schools across West Bengal.
The Calcutta High Court on Thursday struck down the transfer of the protest leader from RG Kar Medical College and Hospital, relief that did not come to him alone but also to hundreds of young doctors who took to the streets in his support.
The high court on Thursday asked the state administration to ensure traffic movement was not “disturbed” because of the Trinamool Congress’s Martyrs’ Day rally on July 21.
