Fresh tension erupted in Murshidabad on Sunday following police action at the residence of suspended Trinamool Congress (TMC) MLA from Bharatpur, Humayun Kabir.
Meanwhile, Bharatpur MLA Humayun Kabir, who was suspended by the Trinamool Congress after he announced plans to construct Babri Masjid in West Bengal’s Murshidabad district, on Sunday (December 21, 2025) announced his plans to launch a new political party on Monday (December 22, 2025).
Suspended Trinamool MLA HumayunKabir on Sunday said that he is likely to tie up with the AIMM in the upcoming assembly polls in West Bengal as he claimed that he had a discussion with AIMIM president AsaduddinOwaisi.
