China has started building a huge hydropower project on the Yarlung Tsangpo River called Brahmaputra in India near the Nyingchi region in Tibet, close to Arunachal Pradesh. It plans to build five dams to generate massive amounts of electricity more than the Three Gorges Dam.

The policy, officially titled the ‘Special Scheme for Grant of Arms Licenses to Original Inhabitants and Indigenous Indian Citizens’, will targets areas where indigenous communities are minorities, especially near the Bangladesh border.
The All India Congress Committee (AICC) announced Gogoi’s appointment in a press statement issued by party general secretary K.C. Venugopal.
