BJP to support Government on Ordinance for Untainted Teachers

BJP has said it will support the government if it brings an ordinance to protect untainted teachers.

The issue has gained attention following recent controversies around recruitment scams and corruption in the education sector, which left many genuine teachers facing removal from their posts

BJP  made it clear that while action against corruption is must, innocent teachers who got their jobs through fair means should not suffer. Thousands of teachers across different states, like West Bengal  have been worried about losing their jobs  after recruitment lists were questioned in the court and by the  investigating agency.

BJP leaders said the teaching community forms the backbone of society and their dignity must be preserved.

The demand for an ordinance comes at a time when many teachers who were appointed years ago and have done their job faithfully are scared  of dismissal because of widespread scams involving bribes and fake recruitments.Although  the guilty of corruption are being investigated , the teachers who had no role in the scams feel they are being punished unfairly.

Experts also believe that protecting untainted teachers is essential to keep schools running smoothly. Sudden removal will  not only harm the teacher’s  livelihoods but also disrupt children’s education. Many parents and students have raised concerns urging the government to find a balanced solution.

If the government introduces such an ordinance then it will  give legal protection to teachers who were appointed through transparent and genuine processes. This will bring much needed relief to thousands of families and restore trust in the education system.

The case  is now in the government’s court and with  BJP promising its support, pressure is likely to grow on the authorities to act quickly. For the teachers waiting for justice , the ordinance could be the difference between losing everything and continuing to serve in the classrooms proudly.
